British devs from Firefly Studios are bringing its Stronghold series to mobile with Stronghold Castles, a city-building and strategy game set to launch globally this 2024 for iOS and Android. Inspired by the classic 2012 title, the mobile version allows players to manage and expand their own medieval realms, from resource gathering to fortifying castles.
As we can expect, in Stronghold Castles, you’ll also engage in real-time PvP battles, laying siege to rival castles to improve your own stronghold. The game promises a mix between strategic city management and fast-paced tactical gameplay, making it a must-play for fans of medieval sims.
I like that kind of games, they remind me of the times of Age of Empires for PC. Now, the biggest challenge they have is always to adapt the UI for the screens of an Android phone or iPhone.
