Today, japanese studio Dyglone released UFO-Man, a Foddian-style 2D action game inspired by notoriously difficult games like Getting Over It. The game is available on Steam and iOS.
In UFO-Man players have to guide a UFO carrying a square “Luggage” to the top of a complex course filled with obstacles. If the Luggage hits a wall or obstacle, it drops, forcing players to start climbing again from where it fell, potentially losing hours of progress.
The game also includes features like a “Crash Count” that tracks collisions, and a “Practice Mode” designed for speedrunners and achievement hunters. This gameplay style demands patience and precision, as players must carefully maneuver through each obstacle while managing physics-based challenges.
It is a casual and fun game, however, it is not free. The game is priced at $6.99 in Steam and in the iOS App Store.
