We are going to get a new Disney game from the japanese/american studio GungHo Entertainment. Disney Pixel RPG is a retro-inspired roleplaying game set to launch later this year. We can see in the screenshots that this vertical mode game has a classic gameplay and of course it will be full of Disney characters.
As far we know, Disney Pixel RPG (here is the official website) will get players into a pixelated universe where they can recruit and battle alongside iconic Disney characters. The game will feature multiple worlds, each offering a mix of battle, action, and rhythm challenges. Players can create and customize their own characters, engaging in auto-battles with the option to take direct control during critical moments. The storyline revolves around fighting strange programs that threaten the worlds inhabited by these pixelated Disney heroes.
While the official release date is not yet confirmed, Disney Pixel RPG is expected to launch this year. The game will be free-to-play with in-app purchases, and it’s currently listed for a tentative release on September 9th on the App Store. Pre-registration is now open for both iOS and Android users. Interested players can pre-order on the App Store and pre-register on Google Play.
