The original girl band animation GIRLS BAND CRY, set to air in April 2024, will soon be developed into a mobile game, as announced by Toei Animation. While details about the game type and release date remain undisclosed, the game will be available on both iOS and Android platforms.
GIRLS BAND CRY is a collaborative project between Toei Animation, agehasprings, and Universal Music. The story revolves around five girls, each with their own struggles, who form the band “TOGENASHI TOGEARI” and find their place through music. The animation features character designs by illustrator Nari Tejima and is directed by Kazuo Sakai, known for his work on Love Live! Sunshine!!.
