Japanese devs from Marvelous and Honey∞Parade Games have officially announced Senran Kagura: Project N, a new mobile entry in the long-running shinobi action franchise, set to launch in 2026 for iOS and Android devices. As we know, the game will serve as a narrative sequel to Shinobi Master Senran Kagura: New Link, which ended service earlier this year.
Set three years after the events of New Link, Project N (will not be the final name) introduces five new shinobi girls attending a newly established school. Returning characters Gekkou and Senkou—who appeared at the end of New Link—will also play key roles in the upcoming storyline. Character designs are once again handled by Nan Yaegashi, whose iconic art style has defined the series since its inception.
So far gameplay details remain under wraps, early teasers suggest a blend of turn-based combat and collectible mechanics, similar to previous mobile adaptations. The game’s teaser visual hints at a mysterious new girl and urban setting, marking a tonal shift from the traditional academy-based narratives.
The announced was made in the Naru Expo, and we can speculate that Project N may incorporate offline features, following the release of an offline version of New Link that preserved story content and customization options. Marvelous has confirmed that more details—including the official title and gameplay systems—will be revealed in future updates.
