The strategy RPG game Starfall: Elpis of the Abyss (星落：深淵のエルピス) is now accepting pre-registrations for iOS and Android devices. Developed by HaoPlay, this is a strategy game, now, this game is currently limited to the Japanese market. However, it is important to note that HaoPlay, as publisher, has a history of games that have seen a global release, for example Metal Slug Awakening, Pixel Heroes or Girl’s Frontline 2 Exilium.
What do we know so far? We, as players, are tasked with battling the Great Demon King and uncovering the mysteries of a bottomless abyss that threatens the world. The game has a semi-real-time combat system which emphasizes in strategic preparation before battle and quick decision-making during encounters.
Players who pre-register will receive some rewards. Additional bonuses are expected to be announced soon. The game is scheduled for release in early 2025, in Japan. There aren’t news about a global release. But as pointed before, if it gets some audience, we may get it outside Asia or at least with english support. Pre-registration is now live on the App Store, Google Play, and the official website.
